South Korean singer Lim Young Ho, known by his stage names Ystory, has passed away at the age of 49, leaving fans and loved ones in mourning.

The news was first announced by his family on July 11, while his funeral procession took place on July 13. Lim was laid to rest at Jeju Yangji Park, where he was buried in Memorial House 2, Room 207, No. 119.

On July 15 (KST), a woman who identified herself as the singer's longtime girlfriend shared an emotional message through Lim Young Ho's official social media account. Explaining that they had spent many years together like family, she revealed that she personally organized and oversaw his three-day funeral, carrying out the responsibilities that are traditionally fulfilled by a spouse.

She also expressed her heartfelt gratitude to everyone who visited the funeral home, offered prayers, sent flowers, or shared messages of support, saying that their kindness allowed him to be sent off with dignity and surrounded by love.

In one of the most touching parts of her message, she wrote that Lim had worried about her until the very end of his life. Recalling one of his songs, she shared that he once sang, "You are my last love," adding that she has now truly become his last love. She ended her farewell by expressing her hope that they would meet again in another life, sooner, and love each other even more.

Lim Young Ho made his debut in 2009 with the single "Whisper in the Ear" and built a career under the stage name Ystory. Throughout the years, he released several songs, including "Journey to You," "Tropical Night," "Late Return," "I Believed in Love," "Spring Scent," and "Sehwa Beach."
