K-pop Boy Group Disbands After Just Two Years
A K-pop group has officially come to an early end. After only two years together, the boy group is disbanding.
On April 23, the agency NOMAD Entertainment announced that the members would be going their separate ways following the conclusion of their exclusive contracts.
Official Statement
In its announcement, the agency stated:
“After thorough discussions with the members of NOMAD, it has been agreed that the group’s exclusive contracts with the agency will formally come to an end. As a result, the members of NOMAD will pursue their own individual paths. We would like to sincerely thank the members of NOMAD for their hard work and dedication, and we will continue to support them as they embark on new journeys.”
A Group That Debuted in 2024
NOMAD debuted as a five-member group — Doy, Sangha, One, Rivr, and Junho — in February 2024. During their short career, they promoted songs such as “Nomad,” “Call Me Back,” and “Carnival.”
The agency also stated that it will no longer accept fan letters or other forms of support following the disbandment.
Fans, known as NOMADians, have expressed both their sadness and their support for the members as they move forward with their individual careers.
