SEVENTEEN Confirm Military Enlistment Plans for Several Members in Late 2026
CARATs, are we ready for this? 😭
SEVENTEEN have officially confirmed that several members will begin their mandatory military service during the latter half of 2026, marking the final stage of enlistments before the group's highly anticipated full reunion in 2028.
During an appearance on a variety show hosted by producer Na Young Seok, the members revealed that Mingyu, Dokyeom (DK), Vernon, Seungkwan, and Dino are next in line to fulfill their military obligations, following the enlistment plans of other members announced previously.
According to the group, the enlistment schedule was strategically organized to reduce the length of time that SEVENTEEN would be unable to promote together. By staggering their service periods, the members hope to reunite as a complete group as quickly as possible once everyone has completed their military duties.
In South Korea, mandatory military service generally lasts between 18 and 21 months, depending on the branch of service. While the announcement naturally brought mixed emotions among fans, the members maintained a positive atmosphere during the discussion, joking about their future reunion and sharing heartfelt messages of support for one another.
Although the coming years may bring temporary changes to group activities, SEVENTEEN's long-term plan offers hope and reassurance for fans eagerly awaiting the day all thirteen members can stand on stage together again.
For now, CARATs will continue supporting each member through this important chapter while looking forward to an unforgettable SEVENTEEN reunion in 2028.
