To Those “Fans” Criticizing BTS for Fewer Choreographies. Here’s My Honest Opinion

Recently, I’ve been seeing more and more criticism directed at BTS for reducing choreography during their concerts. And honestly… it really hurts to see.

It’s normal. They’re not robots. Five concerts back to back, 3-hour performances, barely any real rest in between… that’s something most people can’t even imagine.

What we see on stage is only the tip of the iceberg. Before they even step in front of thousands of fans, they go through endless rehearsals, soundchecks, mic checks, recordings, meetings, interviews… Then they travel for hours, change countries, time zones, sleep very little, and still go on stage like nothing happened.

The physical exhaustion is one thing. But the mental pressure… it’s even heavier. The constant expectation to be perfect, to not disappoint fans, to give everything they have — every single night.

And we’ve already seen how far they push themselves. Just a few days ago, Kim Taehyung had a nosebleed during an interview… and still, he simply put a tissue in his nose and continued as if nothing happened. That’s not just professionalism — that’s pure exhaustion hidden behind strength.

And most importantly — they do all of this for us. For the fans.
Every rehearsal, every pain, every sleepless night… just to give us those few hours of happiness.

So if you were a real ARMY… you would never allow yourself to criticize the people you claim to love.

As Jungkook sings “they don’t know ’bout us

I can show you love, I can show you
If you wanna know me, what can I do for you?
You keep asking what made the difference
I answer, I don’t even know
Everybody hears the story that they wanna
‘They blew up because of this’ — yeah, I’m right
We’re just big boys, a.k.a. country boys
We’ve just got that energy… just shut up, shut up, oh”

Personally, I’m happy… because my dream of seeing them live is finally coming true. But at the same time, my heart hurts for them. Because I know the price they pay for those 3 hours on stage.

Being an idol is not just lights and fame. It’s pain, sacrifice, sleepless nights, pushing yourself to the limit… and still smiling in front of your fans.

So instead of focusing on fewer choreographies, I choose to see something more important — the effort, the sacrifice, and the love that BTS continue to give every single time they step on stage.

Because a real fan doesn’t look for perfection.
They see the human behind the idol. 💜
